“Food is our common ground, a universal experience.” – James Beard
Just an FYI, teh is tea in Malay but if you are in Singapore or Malaysia and you order teh, you will get tea with milk. Plain tea with sugar is teh-o. Weird isn’t it? Anyway, sorry for abandoning this place for a while! I just came back from Kuala Lumpur where I had teppanyaki twice, one for 40 MYR (17 SGD/12 USD) and another for 15 MYR (6 SGD/4 USD), and a lot more delicious eats. I have a lot of posts planned for this coming week, including the shakshouka my mom cooked last week, so stay tuned dear readers and new subscribers!
Oh and happy chinese new (bunny!) year to all!
